This is the final course in a series of courses on Church History which has experienced the path of the church from its earliest days, through the adoption of Christianity by Constantine, The Monastic Era, The Fall of Rome, The Rise of Islam, The Holy Roman Empire, The Crusades, The Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation. This final course takes the student from the Age of Enlightenment, the Expansion to the New World, The Industrial Revolution, The Black Church and the most recent events that have taken place in the life of the church. The aim of the course is to provide the student with an overview of the last five hundred years. This is an exciting journey into some of the subtle nuances that have had a major impact on the activities and effectiveness of the church. The course offers the contents in such a way that anticipates the future road that the church may travel as it moves further into the 21st century.
