This course provides an overview of the episcopacy by examining the five-fold ministry, the various responsibilities of a bishop, how the title of bishop has travelled through several different languages, apostolic teaching and apostolic succession. While by no means exhaustive, the course seeks to ignite an interest in the student so that they will pursue further study on the topic.
